Following the success of Shoreditch, Soho, London and Holborn - Grind continue to expand as a restaurant group. Covent Garden Grind found its home at Maiden Lane early 2016, followed by Clerkenwell, Exmouth Market and Whitechapel.
With its connections to music and culture, Covent Garden provides the perfect backdrop for Grind’s electric, fast paced attitude. Born from a desire to recreate the espresso taste found in Melbourne, Grind roast their signature Grind House Blend in their Shoreditch roastery before it’s packed and shipped across London. Bold in flavour and roasted daily, their coffee has put Grind firmly on the map as some of the busiest and most recognisable restaurants, cafes and cocktail bars in London.
As well as keeping your caffeine levels topped up with their signature Grind House Blend, you’ll be suitably replenished with bottomless prosecco at brunch. To soak it all up, foodie favourites include beetroot-cured smoked salmon with scrambled eggs on sourdough, and their raw breakfast salad with broccoli, bulgur wheat, matcha and a poached egg.
As the day moves on, Covent Garden Grind serves up a selection of small plates - dishes such as salt cod brandade with garlic crostini, sprout and goats’ cheese Panzanella, and the favourite; middle-white pork belly with charred onions.
It wouldn’t be a Grind without the infamous Grind Espresso Martini, and the signature takes pride of place on the evening menu, alongside innovative and experimental coffee cocktails as well as their killer classics late into the evening.
