Ivy Market Grill
MONDAY TO FRIDAY: 11.30AM – 12.30AM
SATURDAYS, SUNDAY AND BANK HOLIDAYS: 11AM TO 11.30PM
When The Ivy asked its regular customers what they'd like from a second restaurant, they requested the same tasty menu with speedy service so they could refuel pre and post-theatre.
And so The Ivy Market Grill was conceived, opening its doors on the Covent Garden Piazza in November 2014. Set menus include signature Ivy dishes and won't break the bank (£16.50 for 2 courses, £21 for 3 courses and £18.50 for Shepherd’s Pie & Champagne).
Then there's the weekend brunch and traditional afternoon tea which have been designed for those who prefer to linger on the Piazza terrace and watch the world go by. Dishes to relish include dark treacle tart, toasted crumpets with Marmite and truffled chicken gongere.
Lunch and dinner à la carte promise to be a veritable feast with crispy duck salad, rack of lamb and lemon sole. The simple cocktail menu (with Ivy-branded gin and champagne) coupled with fabulous ‘faded grandeur’ interiors courtesy of Martin Brudnizki Design Studio will do doubt attract the same glittering clientele who frequent the original Ivy down the road on West Street.
