Situated at the front of the Museum with views of Covent Garden Piazza, the Upper Deck cafe bar is the perfect destination to take family for lunch before touring the museum, or to meet friends for a transport-themed cocktail. Hot and cold food and drinks are available throughout the day, including sandwiches, burgers and handmade pasta. Take your little travellers out to eat guilt-free – their kids meals come with carrots and cucumbers. Relax with freshly made cakes and award-winning Benugo blend coffee, or unwind with friends over a cold beer or glass of wine.
Join them for Friday Lates and sip on speciality Routemaster cocktails in a funky setting. The interior features seating upholstered in a unique ‘moquette’ fabric design based on the pattern used on the Northern line in the 1930s. With music, bars, hot food, talks, quizzes, and craft activities, the Friday Lates are a great way to discover the Museum after-hours.
Situated in the main museum, the Lower Deck cafe offers a range of freshly made sandwiches, snacks and hot and cold drinks. Parents can relax with an award-winning coffee from our trained baristas, while keeping an eye on the little ones.
Feed the family with a children’s lunchbox: choose any four items and get cucumber and carrot sticks for free. Make your visit special with scrumptious underground-themed cupcakes or choose frozen yoghurt and add your own toppings!
In addition to the Upper Deck cafe bar and Lower Deck cafe, the Museum has a small indoor picnic area where visitors can eat their own packed lunches.
