St Paul’s Church, right on Covent Garden’s world-famous Piazza, is a haven of tranquillity among the hustle and bustle of the West End.
Fondly referred to as the ‘actor’s church’ because of its association with the theatre community, this beautiful place of worship was built by Inigo Jones, and has stood here in Covent Garden since 1633.
St Paul’s Church often holds concerts, as well as regular mass services.
The church gardens also make the perfect place to find a bit of quiet from the bustle of the Piazza and surrounding streets. The little known courtyard is lined with benches, surrounded by trees and illuminated with festoon lighting making it a magical spot all year round.
