Kaspar’s Seafood Bar & Grill at The Savoy
MONDAY - SUNDAY: 7AM - 11PM
Building on the rich history of restaurants at The Savoy, Kaspar’s Seafood Bar and Grill offers an informal yet luxury all-day dining experience in an elegant 1920’s style setting. Kaspar’s theatrical design is inspired by the decadence of the Twenties and Thirties, a time when the hotel bustled with dinner, dancing and glamorous guests. Cut-glass mirroring, silver leaf ceiling and chequer-board marble floors frame the Seafood and Oyster Bar, flanked by Murano glass columns and pendant glass light fittings to complete the look
Executive Chef, Holger Jackisch, has created a menu that focuses on locally sourced seafood; beautifully prepared and exquisitely presented. Having worked at the hotel in 1999 as executive sous chef, Jackisch returned in June 2015 to lead The Savoy’s culinary team across the hotel’s restaurants and bars, now with over a decade’s experience garnered in the Middle East and Russia.
With Jackisch at the helm, Kaspar’s Seafood Bar and Grill offers guests an indulgent array of fresh and smoked fish, oysters, caviar and fresh seafood: delicious slivers of smoked salmon, cured sea bass or fresh rock oysters followed by Dover sole, lobster or sea bream; spatchcock, lamb cutlets or beef. Conclude with clever twists on classic desserts or the finest artisan cheeses.
Guests can also enjoy a three-course set pre/post theatre menu for £28 per person concluding with twists on classic desserts such as Eton Mess with balsamic vinegar and the irresistible Kaspar’s chocolate and mint, a concoction of rich dark chocolate, mint cremeux and cookie crumble.
With a lively atmosphere in an elegant setting, Kaspar’s is the perfect spot for breakfast, relaxed lunches, early evening drinks and leisurely evening meals.
