Opening early next year.Upholding the strong values and ethos established in Richmond at Petersham Nurseries Café, The Petersham will add a new character to the existing fold. Transformed in this central London setting, at the heart of the theatre district, The Petersham will debut, presenting itself as a sophisticated, refined, a la carte restaurant demonstrating a chic and tailored style. During spring and summer months, tables will flow out onto Floral court, where al fresco dining will be offered.
Executive Chef, Simon Whitley will oversee menu creation in collaboration with the culinary research and development team. Respecting the Slow Food philosophy, the offering will be simple and seasonal, with a focus on quality ingredients and Italian flavours. Produce continues to be responsibly sourced, using suppliers that have been carefully selected during food buying trips. Family owned and run Haye Farm, will supply poultry, eggs and organic fruit and vegetables to all Petersham Nurseries restaurants.
Serving lunch and dinner, with pre and post theatre menus, as well as afternoon tea, The Petersham promises to provide an oasis in this fast-paced urban environment. A ‘Petersham’ twist on afternoon tea is hoped to become a much desired offering for both locals and tourists alike.
