Heidi Sturgess is a luxury design brand, launched in 2001, it is now well established with a worldwide customer base and a number of up market global stockists, stretching from Milan all the way to Guatemala City.
All the products are created from original drawings and designs by Heidi herself and made in England, mostly in our own studio in London.
In 2017, Heidi’s beautiful Lobster Handbags selected by The Royal Academy of Arts in London and put on display as part of the Salvador Dali & Marcel Duchamp Exhibition.
The handbags were featured as their Best Selling product in their shops during the exhibition. Some of Heidi's famous customers include shoe legend Jimmy Choo himself, Pop Divas Pink and Alicia Keys, Atomic Kitten, Actress Amanda Abbington and Opera singer Ainhoa Arteta, to name a few.
Heidi also has an impressive list of clients for whom she has designed products and created illustrations, including Morgan Stanley, Great Ormond Street Hospital, Dr Sebagh, L’Oreal, Fortnum & Mason, Kew Gardens, Selfridges, Whistles, Camden Graphics, Erickson Beamonand Vogue.
Heidi has been working as a full-time designer for 30 years but her design career started at the age of 15 as winner of an international BBC Design Competition in 1984. After a Levels, Heidi graduated from Croydon Art College Foundation Course with a Distinction, going on to graduate from Middlesex University in 1992 with a BA (Hons) 3D Design.
Heidi has subsequently worked internationally in several roles, including Visual Merchandising Director and Event Designer in the corporate sector, as Senior Freelance Couture Jewellery & Accessories Designer for Erickson Beamon in London, where she designed over 30 collections and created pieces for fashion shows for the likes of Givenchy, Chanel and John Galliano. Heidi has also been commissioned as an artist and illustrator, numerously by Camden Graphics. Heidi is currently writing and illustrating a series of children’s books.
