Nigel Cabourn opened his first standalone UK and European flagship store in London in 2014.
Taking residence on 28 Henrietta Street, in the heart of Covent Garden, Nigel Cabourn brings his retail concept, The Army Gym, to the capital from Japan where there are currently six stores across the country. It offers the Nigel Cabourn Authentic collection, made in the UK, Japanese lines and Women’s styles alongside a selection of collaboration’s.
Hailed as a cult British designer, Nigel Cabourn has worked in the industry for over forty years producing collections, which are not influenced by ‘fashion’ trends but driven by inspirational stories of real people in history and vintage military, outdoor and work wear pieces.
Within his store, Nigel hosts many of his sought after collaborations, one of these is with Converse. Nigel’s collaboration with Converse continues with his latest interpretation of the iconic Chuck Taylor 1970 Hi-Top. His makeover includes using military spec L34 Ventile® in two colours - both inspired by the 1955 Trans Antarctic Expedition – classic navy on the outside of the shoe and RAF grey on the inside. They also feature different lace options inspired by mountain rope. Exclusive to Nigel Cabourn, these Hi-Tops are a true limited edition.
Don't forget to take advantage of Nigel Cabourn's Gift Cards in store. They can be topped up with any value and are the perfect solution if you're unsure of which style, colour or size to buy a loved one. Pop by the Henrietta Street store to find out more!
