A J James

AJ James is a well-seasoned professional escapologist. He has performed around the world, tumbling, escaping and making people laugh along the way.

The consummate escapologist, AJ can hold the audience in the palm of his hand, whether it is to thousands at a music festival, Covent Garden a packed theatre, or an intimate crowd at a corporate event.

AJ James does things that very few others can – knife juggling on a balance board (even going so far as to perform upside down!) and a timed escape from chains are just his warm up! His invigorating performance includes leaping through fire, multiple back-flips and somersaults which will leave the audience holding their breath whenever he performs!

Culture and Theatre

Since the 1660s Covent Garden has never missed a chance to put on a performance

The first record of Covent Garden street entertainment came in 1662, when Samuel Pepys’ diary notes that a marionette show featuring a character named Punch took place on the Piazza. Today, the custom continues.

For centuries, culture vultures have swooped on Covent Garden. They obviously relished the area’s eclectic, ever-changing mix or opera, ballet , musical theatre and drama, from highbrow and mainstream to fringe and beyond, all tastes are catered for and all emotion are stirred. No other urban quarter in the world has two great opera house and more than twenty thriving theatres
