Donate to Beauty Banks during London Beauty Week
Covent Garden and Beauty Banks believe that being clean is a basic human right so this London Beauty Week we have joined forces to challenge the public to donate as many products as possible to this incredible cause.
For the duration of London Beauty Week, Covent Garden will have a designated donation spot in the middle of the Piazza for all visitors to drop off unused beauty products to. As the official charity partner of London Beauty Week, Beauty Banks will also receive 100% of the value of each ticket sold to one of our amazing events.
So, what can you donate?
Step into the shoes of people living in poverty, what might you need to feel human and dignified? Be it toothbrushes and toothpaste, shower gel, a razor or razorblades, shaving gel, soap, flannels, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, tampons or sanitary towels, face wash, body lotion, face moisturiser, hairbrush, comb and nail clippers.
Beauty Banks will also accept essentials for children too like talcum powder, baby shampoo, nappies, wipes, bum cream, hair and toothbrushes, toothpaste, baby bath and lotion.
For the teens, Beauty Banks need deodorant, spot cream and sanitary protection.
Those living in temporary accommodation and homeless shelters often need travel minis they can carry more easily from place to place.
Make Up is also accepted, along with brand new hair dryers and electric shavers.
