The Covent Garden Christmas Treasure Hunt
Do you know how many disco baubles hang in the Market Building or the colour of Rudolph's sleigh? This year we've launched the ultimate Christmas experience in Covent Garden; The Covent Garden Christmas Treasure Hunt.
From 1st December simply visit our Information Booth on the West Piazza to take part. You can take part any time, but if you're visiting on the weekend we have some special gifts for those who participate on a first come, first served basis.
Do you dare to sit in the Trunchbull's chair?
To celebrate 30 years of Matilda, Covent Garden has partnered with the Royal Shakespeare Company's multi-award winning production of Roald Dahls' Matilda The Musical this Christmas.
Somebody has been naughty and moved Miss Trunchbull's chair to Central Avenue for the duration of the Christmas season! Do you dare to sit in the Trunchbull's chair?

SKATE at Somerset House
On 14th November, Somerset House heralds the start of the festive season as its neoclassical courtyard transforms into the capital's quintessential winter destination. The signature 40ft Christmas tree welcomes visitors to SKATE at Somerset House where unique experiences for all ages await, from learning the art of skating at Skate School, to discovering new music at Skate Lates. Off the ice, guests can relax in the comfort of the alpine-inspired restaurant Fortnum's Lodge, whilst the Fortnum's Christmas Arcade offers an array of gifts for shoppers.

Our Covent Garden green vintage '67 Morris Minor has parked up on the North Piazza and has been decked out with a stack of 21 Christmas presents, 20 festoon lights and festive green wreath.
