Bow Street Tavern

Located in the heart of ‘Theatreland’, The Bow Street Tavern dates from 1763 and, through its original link with Bow Street Magistrates Court, was witness to the formation of the Bow Street Runners, widely acknowledged to be Britain’s first police force. The pub's five floors offer a choice of spaces for any social gathering or event, or intimate dinner to pre-theatre bite. The rooftop lets visitors take in views of the Royal Opera House, with an English Garden it truly feels like you’re miles away from the hustle and bustle of Theatreland.

The pub menu consists of hearty pub classics like fish and chips and burgers, to modern favourites including tacos. The chefs use the best of the British seasons to create unique menus, with every dish created with flair, and packed with bold flavours. Pair your meal with a renowned selection of ice-cold beers, creative cocktails and the best margaritas in town.
