Savoy Theatre

Located on the Strand, the Savoy Theatre is at the heart of London's theatreland.

Dating back to 1881, the Savoy Theatre became famous for being the first public building worldwide, to be lit by incandescent electric lights. In 1929 the auditorium was invaded by work men and demolished, only to be re-opened as a new and modern theatre 135 days later.

The Savoy Theatre has played host to iconic productions, including Pretty Woman, Noises Off, and most recently Sunset Boulevard, starring Nicole Sherzinger.
