Aldwych Theatre

The Aldwych Theatre was built in 1905 and has since played host to many world-famous productions. The theatre saw the first performance of Chekhov’s The Cherry Orchard in England, Amy's View with Dame Judi Dench and A Streetcar Named Desire starring two time Academy Award Winner, Vivien Leigh.

The Aldwych Theatre rose to fame as a production venue in the 2000's, as it played host to shows such as Fame and Dirty Dancing, which became the longest running show to date at the Aldwych.

The theatre is currently home to the world premiere production of Tina – The Tina Turner Musical, which opened in March 2018.
