Palace Theatre

The Palace Theatre originally opened as a Royal English Opera House in 1981, however was soon converted into a grand music hall.

The Palace Theatre was renamed the Palace Theatre of Varieties and was home the opening of musical comedy No No, Nanette. Following this, many other musicals followed and over time the Palace Theatre was known as a musical house. Notable productions from recent years include Jesus Christ Superstar and Priscilla Queen of the Desert.
