Playhouse Theatre

The Playhouse Theatre was opened in 1882, with a revival of Offenbach's Madam Favart, however was then rebuilt and reopened in 1907 with a one act play named The Drums of Oudh.

The Playhouse Theatre has hosted many legendary actors over the years, including Gladys Cooper and Janet McTeer. In recent years The Playhouse has played host to productions including The Seagull with Games of Thrones star, Emilia Clarke, and Cyrano de Bergerac with James McAvoy.

Be transported to a secret underground world where all are welcome, it's the most decadent club in town - The Kit Kat Club. Currently playing at The Playhouse, Cabaret is one of the most successful musicals in history and has won a record-breaking seven Olivier Awards.

Set in 1920s Berlin during the rise of Nazis to power, Ameican singer and dancer Sally Bowles dreams of wealth and fame. She works at the Kit Kat club, a place where everyone can be free, even when the world is changing forever.
