London Transport Museum: Family activities this half term

Bring your family over the October half term to enjoy creative activities inspired by the amazing artworks in the new Global Poster Gallery at the London Transport Museum.

Look out for an artist and their muse as you explore our galleries, and take inspiration from the colourful posters on display. Learn about the colours used on London’s buses, Tubes and trains and discover how some of these choices have become world-famous!

Kids can get crafty designing a perfect transport poster, settle in for a lively puppet theatre show, or join a trail through our galleries to track down a secret artwork.

More to explore in the Museum

Other highlights for families include seeing real buses, Tube trains and maps spanning 200 years of the capital’s transport history; learning how to drive a modern-day Elizabeth line train in the Future Engineers gallery; and having fun climbing aboard an array of kid-sized London vehicles in the All Aboard play zone.
