Balthazar is delighted to announce that from Thursday, 1 October, they will be opening our doors once again. With a selection of French brasserie classics, served all day, Monday to Sunday, Balthazar is the perfect spot to spend this Autumn.
Balthazar is located in Covent Garden on the corner of Russell Street and Wellington Streets, just across from The Royal Opera House.
The original Balthazar opened in downtown New York on Spring Street in 1997 and founder Keith McNally has endeavoured to remain as true to the Manhattan original as possible, travelling far and wide to source the interior features and fittings and ensuring that the style is reminiscent of a time-honoured French brasserie.
The menu at Balthazar includes an abundance of fruits de mer as well as a wide selection of classic French brasserie and bistro dishes. At Balthazar, bistro food, good wine and friendly service are the order of the day. There’s something for everyone, all day long – breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner and quite possibly the best vegetarian brunch available at Covent Garden.
Balthazar's philosophy is simple – the restaurant offers a combination of the best ingredients with the most traditional methods to produce food of exceptional quality.
Advanced booking for the restaurant advisable for peak times.
