Oliphant’s Ice Cream & Bakery

A hidden gem in the heart of the Covent Garden Market Building, award-winning producer Oliphant’s churn their own traditional all-natural English ice cream freshly in the café as well as offering a variety of popular artisanal ice cream flavours.

Oliphant’ also create classic pastries made with the best French butter and English flour. They have a flexitarian approach to their baking with their all-butter and their plant-based pastries equally Great-Taste Award winners.

Sweet & savoury buns, croissants and pastries are baked in small batches throughout the day which not only generates minimum waste, but means they are served fresh and warm from the oven! Their Cinnamon buns have a genuine cult following and are best eaten warm from the oven with a cup of their House Roast Coffee or their own recipe Hot Chocolate.

Oliphant’s Covent Garden is their first London café, where they showcase both their ice cream and bakery products all- year round. There is a seasonal emphasis, A/W they offer a wider range of their own sweet and savoury baked goods served fresh and warm from their on-site ovens, perfect for breakfast, elevenses’ lunch and pre-theatre snacks.

In the spring and summer their artisanal ice cream and sorbet take centre stage with a choice of ten flavours plus a signature flavour continuously churning in front of your eyes. Uniquely, at this time, Oliphant’s also make their own delicious waffle cones to complement their award-winning ice cream freshly on the day!

All goodies can be enjoyed with Oliphant’s House Roast Coffee, Guest Coffees, Teas, our own recipe Hot Chocolate, Cold Drinks and even a perfectly chilled glass of Nyetimber English Sparkling Wine!
