The Crusting Pipe is situated on the lower ground floor of Covent Garden’s vibrant Market Building, an ideal spot for a glass of wine, afternoon tea or dining. Customers seated in the outdoor terrace can often enjoy impromptu performances from local musicians and actors, while the indoor space with vaulted ceilings and lots of nooks and crannies provides an atmospheric setting for private dining and events.
Delicious, fresh and seasonal food is served all day from breakfast to a-la-carte meals, simple bar snacks, tasty sandwiches and traditional afternoon tea. Monday to Friday the Crusting Pipe offers a two and three course theatre menu, perfect for pre/post theatre dining just a stone’s throw away from the Royal Opera House.
The wine menu includes exclusive wines curated by Davy's Wine merchants and shipped from all over the globe, many of which are available by the glass. Vintage Port is regularly decanted and available by the bottle or glass, the perfect accompaniment to the fine selection of award-winning British cheeses.
Live performances of classical music and opera take place in the courtyard of the Market Building in Covent Garden throughout the year, from 11am until the early evening.
