The Crusting Pipe is situated on the lower ground floor of Covent Garden’s vibrant Market Building, an ideal spot for a glass of wine, or delicious meal. You can relax in the covered courtyard or head inside to the bar and dining rooms and escape busy Covent Garden Market, in one of the many cosy corners. Customers seated in the outdoor terrace can often enjoy impromptu performances from local musicians and actors.

Open from breakfast, through to lunch and dinner, tables at The Crusting Pipe are always in high demand. You will find classic British dishes on the menu, made with seasonal ingredients sourced from trusted suppliers. Choose from an interesting and diverse selection of wines and vintage ports to enjoy with them, all sourced by Davy’s Wine Merchants.

The Crusting Pipe has been part of Covent Garden history for the past 40 years and was one of the first tenants following the redevelopment of the market in the 80’s. With its rich history, The Crusting Pipe maintains many of its original features with vaulted ceilings, traditional wood panelling, flagstone flooring and lots of nooks and crannies, providing an atmospheric setting for private dining and events. The Crusting Pipe, part of Davy’s - one of London’s oldest family wine merchants and operators of wine bars - maintains the family values of excellent wine, quality food and outstanding service which have stood for the past 150 years.
