Two decades ago, Danish brothers Jens and Kim Rahbek created a unique cuisine that combines two culinary traditions – Sushi and Yakitori from the charcoal grill – and commissioned Diener & Diener Architects to create interior designs for a sleek new eaterie.
Sticks ‘n’ Sushi soon became something of a phenomenon on the Danish restaurant scene and now they’re taking London by storm.
If you’re a sushi fan, order the salmon carpaccio with trout roe, ceviche with yellowtail, shrimp and citruspearls and hotate kataifi bites. And if you’re not much of a fish fan, choose from the selection of chicken, pork, beef, lamb and vegetable yakitori skewers from the charcoal grill and the range of delicious Japanese salads.
Head to the bar at the back for an aperitif or digestif in the form of a Japanese-inspired cocktails.
