How to Celebrate Bastille Day in Covent Garden
Covent Garden, or should we say 'Covent Jardin', is home to some of the most iconic French shops and restaurants in the West End of London.
Join us and celebrate Bastille Day on 14th July with a range of exciting events and experiences in Covent Garden.
Celebrate Bastille Day on the Piazza
St-Germain and Grey Goose will be hosting a very special Bastille Day Party at Le Terrasse St-Germain on the East Piazza from Friday 13th until Sunday 15th July.
Featuring the celebrated St-Germain Flower Truck Bar, bartenders from the Henrietta Bistro will take over on Saturday 14th from 1-7PM , adding their je ne sais quoi with a delectable array of cocktails, including the St-Germain Spritz. Plus, enjoy live music from Manouche Rouge from 1pm on Saturday 14th.
The celebrations won’t stop there, discover the Grey Goose Riviera Bar featuring a summer striped canopy reminiscent of a flotilla of yachts off the Cote D'Azur. Choose from a range of Grey Goose signature cocktails such as the Grey Goose L'Espresso Martini, Grey Goose Le Grand Fizz and Grey Goose L'Orange Grand Fizz.
Celebrate like a true Parisian at Frenchie
To celebrate Bastille Day, Frenchie will be offering a Vendemiaire cocktail; a special formula consisting of Hine cognac, Fair vodka, Fair cacao, Port, Orange bitter, maple syrup and a touch of Maldon sea salt.
Fancy something to nibble on the side? Then Frenchie's Warm Gougères with Parmesan Sauce should do the trick.
Dress like a Parisian
From Sandro and Claudie Pierlot on King Street, to agnès B and Isabel Marant and Chloé at the new The Shop at Bluebird on Floral Street, Parisian fashion has never looked so good, especially when it comes to Covent Garden.
Ice Cream, the French Way
Keep cool and head to Ladurée Covent Garden for the ultimate ice cream macaron sandwich - say bonjour to the Macaron Glacé!
Choose from rose or chocolate and voila. You can thank us later!
Try the Henrietta Bistro's New Menu
With a brand new menu inspired by South West France, visit the newly refreshed Henrietta Bistro on Henrietta Street for a truly French experience.
Head Chef Sylvain Roucayrol's new menu is inspired by the Basque Country where regional highlights sit alongside modern adaptations, all being full of flavour, colour and personality.
Guests can choose from a selection of French Pastis alongside dishes to share such as Kintoa Ham served with Piment d'Espelette or Getaria Anchovies.
