In celebration of Easter, Morihide Yoshida has created a white chocolate and yuzu macaron, a pastry, and an exceptional limited-edition chocolate egg, all of which are available Ladurée Covent Garden. To create his chocolate Sakura tartlet with matcha tea – a highly symbolic ingredient in Japan – Morihide Yoshida was inspired by Sakura, the cherry trees that blossom at the start of spring in Japan. Morihide Yoshida also took inspiration from a well-known Japanese legend in which a rabbit was sent to live on the moon as a reward for its generosity. This age-old tale provides the background for this exclusive and delightful creation.
Introducing an ‘eggstra special’ treat from Carluccio’s Deli. Introducing, Sofia, named after the Italian icon Ms Loren, this chocolate hen, comes in milk, dark and white chocolate and is hand-decorated, so no two are identical.
There are also Ida the chocolate hare and Pesce, the white and dark chocolate fish!
The '1878 Nougatine Egg' (£35) from Venchi celebrates the rich heritage of the brand with a traditional Nougatine recipe of chocolate and crystallised raspberry.
With crunchy pieces of caramelised Piedmont hazelnuts enrobed in 56% dark chocolate, the egg comes in a beautifully decorated tin with a collection of graphics drawn for Venchi by famous artists of the early 1900s.
This spectacular 'Dark Chocolate Ostrich Egg' (£80) from Hotel Chocolat offers over a kilo of chocolate and is made from half 70% dark chocolate with almonds and half with hazelnuts – it even matches a life-size ostrich egg in scale!
Served with a tray of 27 chocolates, there’s also six golden eggs hidden inside the box for you to hunt making it perfect for all the family to enjoy. It’s any chocolate lovers dream!
For something a little different, try Morelli’s Easter Egg Sundae! Served in a half milk chocolate Easter egg shell with two delicious scoops of ice cream, the sundae is topped with a vanilla swirl and a sprinkling of mini chocolate eggs.

This Easter, guests of The Ivy Market Grill can treat themselves and their loved ones to a playful Easter dessert, the ‘Easter Egger’ (£10.95)
Available from Friday, 19 to Monday, 22 April only, the dessert will feature a delicious white chocolate mousse covered with passion fruit and mango, making for the perfect egg-citing treat to be enjoyed by guests and families over Easter weekend.
