Gelatorino

Based on Russell Street in Covent Garden, heading into Gelatorino will make you feel like you’ve stepped into a little corner of Italy. In Italy, gelato provides the perfect end to a meal, and Italians will travel far and wide to sample the best gelato around. Since 2010, they’ve been serving the same award-winning gelato you’ll find in the parlours of Italy. High-quality artisan produce and authentic, traditional techniques are used to create smooth and creamy gelato, which has less fat than ice cream.

Gelatorino is authentic Italian ice cream through and through. The nut varieties have real nuts churned into them (not the roasted variety we’re used to), the yoghurt contains natural honeyed notes, the mango sorbet is intensely fruity and the chocolate indulgently decedent.

This Piedmont-inspired gelato boutique has a cute boudoir vibe, thanks to curlicue chairs and vintage painted dressers lined with Italian goodies. Coffee-flavoured ‘Breakfast in Turin’ is a worthy signature gelato; dark chocolate and gianduja (hazelnut and chocolate) were spot on. Not only is all of the gelato on offer, absolutely delicious but they are also gluten free! All recipes are really simple and natural, without using any unnecessary additives or preservatives. Even the Cookies&Cream is made with gluten-free biscuits! Gelatorino is also vegan friendly, offering an assortment of Sorbets made from freshly selected fruits.

Not only does Gelatarino provide first class gelato and sorbet, but also an assortment of coffees, crepes, cakes and smoothies.
