Flat Iron is a much loved steak house in the heart of Covent Garden, on Henrietta Street. In this oh-so-cool space, you’ll find Flat Iron’s signature remarkable steak and cheery service. And it goes without saying that all meat is sourced locally.

Flat Iron have a full team of in-house butchers, who host master classes and demonstrations. So if you’ve ever wondered what a flat iron cut is, or how to seamlessly cut a feather blade into the steak, now’s your chance to find out!

The house brew on offer is Yorkshire Beer, which has been made exclusively for the restaurant by the Copper Dragon brewery and a must-try. If you’d prefer something more sobering, the restaurant also invites customers to cleanse their palette with a complimentary ice cream from the gelato bar.

Flat Iron is nestled between popular bars, including All Bar One and Adventure Bar so why not grab a drink before wandering along to the restaurant?

Butcher's Box

Introducing, the Butcher's Box which contains some of Flat Iron's favourite cuts and blends.

Reared by third-generation farmer Charles Ashbridge, our herd leads a long, stress-free life in Thirsk, Yorkshire.

Each limited-edition box contains a mixture of prime steaks and secondary cuts, all carefully seam-butchered to our exacting standards. The box also contains burgers made with a superlative blend only possible when dealing with an entire carcass, a relatively lean blend of mince made with well flavoured cuts and a traditionally prepared hind-quarter roasting joint. Each cut in the box has been specially selected by our Head of Beef, Fred Smith, and hand prepared in the butchery by our in-house butcher, Calum Eades.
