His Majesty's Theatre

Originally named Her Majesty's Theatre, the theatre was renamed to His Majesty's Theatre in April 2022 to mark the coronation of His Majesty King Charles III.

Renamed and refurbished on many occasions since its opening in 1705, His Majesty's Theatre started as an opera house, and has since diversified, however still hosts the timeless opera classic, The Phantom of the Opera.

The theatre was dominated by musicals throughout the 20th century, most notably West Side Story and Bye Bye Birdie.
