Covent Garden announces that it has collaborated with Spokesafe, the urban mobility company, to transform 23 Long Acre into a secure bike parking facility which is now open 24/7 to the public.

This new parking facility, in the heart of Covent Garden, has capacity for 60 bikes, including spaces for e-bikes and cargo bikes, plus stations for e-scooter storage. The Covent Garden Spokesafe facility will also provide secure spaces for E-bike charging, personal lockers, plus a repair station and air pumps for any cyclist needs. Spaces are available on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, with multispace discounts for local businesses. The new concept joins flagship stores from Brompton and VanMoof located in the neighbourhood.

Covent Garden is a popular neighbourhood for cyclists to visit - home to pedestrianised streets and recognised for its high quality air levels thanks to its car-free nature. The prime Covent Garden location of this new bicycle parking facility responds to demands from local Londoners visiting the area – from as well as those returning in due course to offices retailers, theatres and restaurants, encouraging more people to work towards a cleaner and more sustainable future for Covent Garden.

The Covent Garden location is the latest Spokesafe spot, a company that gives cyclists access to a network of secure cycle parking spaces across London at the click of a button. The company offers spaces a new lease of life, leveraging existing infrastructure to open up cities and support more ecofriendly modes of transport.
