MOSCOT

The MOSCOT optical roots were first planted in America by Great Great Grandfather, Hyman Moscot, who arrived from Eastern Europe via Ellis Island in 1899. Hyman began selling ready-made eyeglasses from a pushcart on Orchard Street. Although MOSCOT is now a globally successful fashion brand, with generation after generation of Moscot’s joining the family business, it remains, at heart, a neighbourhood optical shop.

MOSCOT infuses its unmistakeably refined, downtown aesthetic with over 100 years of eyewear expertise and unparalleled craftsmanship to create its timeless eyewear. Designed and prototyped in New York City, all MOSCOT eyewear is handmade, using the highest quality materials, real hardware, and hinges that are riveted through the temple and frame fronts to ensure the sturdiest construction possible.

MOSCOT has a range of collections, take the Originals Collection, based on styles from the Moscot family archives from the 1930s – 1980s, celebrates the classic good looks and timeless designs in decades past. There is also the MOSCOT Spirit Collection, which departs from the Moscot family archives, but still shares the same great DNA as the originals! The glasses brand also sells sunglasses and accessories like travel cases, ensuring your glasses are also kept in the best possible condition.

At Covent Garden’s MOSCOT store at Long Acre, you can find all of the brand’s classic designs and the most recent additions!
