For Valentine’s Weekend, Covent Garden, one of the most romantic and most-loved neighbourhoods of London, is the perfect destination for date night activities, weekend breaks, or trips with friends, providing memorable moments from day to night. From a pop up Flower Market, special Valentine’s Weekend menus, to ultimate gifts and free coffees from Grind, Covent Garden is a one stop destination in the heart of central London.

Covent Garden will play host to a pop up Flower & Chocolate Market from luxury florists Maison de Fleurs throughout the Valentine’s Weekend. The Market will offer visitors the chance to pick from a selection of single stem roses, posies and bouquets, as well as  truffles from luxury British chocolatier Charbonnel et Walker. Running from Friday 11th until Valentines Day, the Market’s floral offering has been curated to celebrate the diversity and individuality of love, with each stem purposefully selected to evoke a feeling. Single stem rainbow roses and traditional red roses can be individually wrapped or gathered into small posies, with larger bouquets aqua packed and easy to carry.

For date night options to cover every taste, Covent Garden’s wide selection of dining and drinking destinations offer innovative menus, from London’s most romantic restaurant Clos Maggiore, to ultra-cosy Cora Pearl, Petersham Nurseries, Balthazar, The Oystermen, The Ivy Market Grill and more. Frenchie’s head chef has created a special five course tasting menu for two, while iconic restaurant Balthazar has pulled out all the stops with live entertainment, bespoke cocktails and new desserts especially for the occasion. Sticks ‘n’ Sushi is offering an exclusive 12 course menu for two, VyTa will also offer a bespoke menu for two, while Pivot at 3 Henrietta will offer complimentary truffles and champagne for all diners. For something a little different, diners can choose from an innovative sharing fondue menu at Lilly’s Café at 3 Henrietta. Ave Mario will be treating lovers and friends to a brand new signature dessert featuring a layered biscuit with almond praline and mousse with hints of Strawberry, while Cinnamon Bazaar is offering a 4-course tasting menu with a glass of champagne for guests on 14th February.

For a sweet Valentine’s treat, Blondies will add a personalised message of your choice on their famous cookies in store for this Valentine’s weekend, while Ladurée will sell a gift box illustrated with the streets of Paris to accompany its champagne gift sets, alongside a one of a kind sharable macaron created by their pastry chef. Whittard will also bring back its much-loved Chocolate cherry brownie alongside their hot chocolate and Let Your Love Brew coffee in store.

For visitors in need of a caffeine hit, Grind is extending its Piazza pop-up through the Valentine’s Day weekend and will be offering the first 50 coffees free of charge on Monday 14th February as the ultimate gift of love. Manchester based Feel Good Club will also be in Covent Garden on Valentine’s Day, spreading positivity and love, and sharing envelopes with notes of encouragement for shoppers at various boutiques on the estate, and it will be the last day to see their large scale uplifting messages which are emblazoned on walls throughout Covent Garden.
