Punch & Judy
MON - SAT: 12 NOON - 11PM
SUN: 12 NOON - 10.30PM
Covent Garden’s Punch & Judy pub was built in 1787 and was thought to be named after the famous Punch and Judy puppet performances that used to take place in Covent Garden’s Piazza for the children of flower-sellers.
This listed building retains much of the original brick and stonework and is one of very few properties in Covent Garden that escaped damage in World War Two.
The Punch & Judy pub is 'world famous' and is located facing the West Piazza and from the balcony guests have the best view to watch the street performers.
As a Taylor Walker pub, we are proud to offer freshly prepared British pub food and high quality drinks. With experienced and friendly staff, whether you are a cask ale fan, love a chilled glass of white wine or a freshly ground cup of coffee, we will serve you in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
Join us for a classic British dish such as bangers and mash, a juicy rump steak burger and chips or a classic British roast seven days a week. Our pub food is freshly prepared and includes all your favourites. We also offer a range of sandwiches and wraps, all served by our welcoming team.
